Went to the
Coterie Trade Show this weekend post New York Fashion Week. There were thousands of companies and retailers in one convention center. Being able to walk around and see the amazing designs up close was divine, and I found it quite interesting to see how the process of buying and selling worked at the show.
I think that it's a career that I am interested in, and although many of the industry people were self-involved, entitled, and rude....... a lot of them were very sweet! I really enjoyed the experience, and would love to get into the fashion industry one day.
The outfits were great, I didn't have my camera (stupid me), but there were some killer Marni shoes being rocked with tights by one woman. I couldn't stop staring.
In other news...
last week i went to the Bloomingdale's big brown bag sale and snagged a Kain long sleeve black shirt, a Kain taupe kimono cardigan and some Community skinny jeans for amazing prices.
I love Kain Label, their garments are so amazingly soft and luxurious.
